Cold Pack 1. Pour 3 cups of water in a zip lock bag. 2. Add 1 cup of isopropyl alcohol. 3. Mix contents 4. Close bag and place in another bag and close the second bag. 5. Place in freezer. Contents should turn into a sluchy mixture. If it is too solid add more alcohol. If it is too watery, add water. 1. Always use a washcloth or towel between the ice pack and skin. 2. Apply only for 10-20 minutes at a time. 3. Cold pack may be reaplied as often as needed as long as you waite 20 minutes between applications. Hot Pack Materials. (1) 10 13/16''x11''(gallon size) Ziplock Freezer Bag. (1) 18''x34'' (fairly thin) Bath Towel Directions or use: 1. Run towel under warm tap water and wring out excess water 2. Fold towel into squares. 3. Place towel flat in Ziplock Freezer Bag: Do not zip shut. 4. Place open bag flat in microwave oven. Heat on high for 3 minutes. 5. Remove hot pack from microwave oven, being careful not to burn hands from hot steam. Close Ziplock Bag and wrap it in dry toweling(1-2 towels or maor if nedded not to burn yourself) 6. Apply hot pack for no longer than 20 minutes at one time. (can reheat same hot packfor same use, repeating the same directions)Warmth lasts 30-45 minutes.
